Cactus
Cactus is a unique plant that can thrive indoors with varying amounts of humidity and light. It's easy to care for which appeals to many green thumbs and novices alike.
LIGHT - Place cactus in a well lit area. A bright window or atrium is the perfect place
WATER - Water the cactus about once a week. If the top half inch of the soil is dry, water the cactus.

Jade
Commonly known as the friendship tree or money plant, the jade plant is a succulent that requires minimal care.
LIGHT - They can be placed in direct or partial sunlight however, they will not tolerate strong direct sun well and will develop scorched leaves or loss of foliage.
WATER - They do not require a lot of water. Allow half the soil in the container to dry out before watering
