1. Are Poinsettias poisonous to children and pets?

No.  However, this doesn’t mean that Poinsettias are meant to be eaten.  If ingested, this plant can cause stomach irritation and discomfort.

 

2. How long will Poinsettias last?

Poinsettias should retain their beauty for 4-6 weeks in the home depending on plant maturity, when you purchase it and how you care for the plant.

 

3. How do I care for my Poinsettias?

A.  Keep them away from cold and warm drafts.  Avoid cold drafts from doorways or excess heat from radiators, fireplaces or heating vents.

B.  Weekly Watering
      6” pot = 8oz.
      8” pot = 12 oz.
     10” pot = 16-18 oz.

C.  Natural or artificial light is ideal with temperatures from 60 - 70 degrees.
