Hydrangea Limelight

Hydrangeas: Elegant flowering shrubs

Hydrangea paniculata or panicle hydrangea is a woody-stemmed shrub that flowers in mid- to late- summer with abundant, cone-shaped blossoms. They range in size from compact, dwarf varieties such as 'Little Lime', Bobo and Oakleaf 'Munchkin' to the larger panicle hydrangeas such as Limelight, Quickfire and Tardiva.  They thrive and flower abundantly in full sun and don't need as much water as the Big Leaf hydrangeas.

What’s the buzz? The sound of summer. Filling your garden with flowering plants that bees like is the perfect way to a part of the cycle of nature. Bees are hardworking insects—pollinating our crops and flowers for us and feeding themselves and their community at the same time. And, don’t forget the honey—one of nature’s simplest pleasures.
