Flowering Plants at Home

Our indoor greenhouse is filled with a fresh selection of plants that are budding and in bloom. Since flowering plants usually last a lot longer than cut flowers, why not include living plants in your home décor? Our sales associates can help you pick out the prettiest ones. Remember to ask for gift wrapping, include a card and you're ready for any occasion!

Cyclamen

Cyclamen  - Cyclamen have flowers that float like butterflies above delicately, patterned foliage. Choose from solid or two-toned blooms in red, pink, white, violet or magenta. Cyclamen thrive in bright, indirect light and prefer cooler temperatures. During bloom time, it’s important to keep the root ball damp.

Pink Azalea

Azalea - The indoor azalea has voluptuous, white, pink, red or violet flowers that resemble small roses. The bright colors contrast nicely with the glossy, dark-green leaves. Azaleas are native to the forests of Japan and China and are cherished as a houseplant, too. If you're lucky, we often offer azaleas in topiary forms, too.

Mini Roses

Miniature Roses - So sweet and tiny in every way-- from flower to leaf size! The flowers will bloom indoors for a week or two, although eventually, they'll need to be planted outdoors in spring to receive the proper sunlight. But give them a little care and miniature roses can be exquisite, although temporary, houseplants. Pair rose plants with a beautiful container that your Valentine is sure to love.

Anthurium

Anthurium or Painters Palette- This unique plant is native to the rainforests of South America. It thrives in bright but indirect light and prefers to be watered a little everyday--and needs a potting mix and a container that drains well. Anthurium has large and sturdy, dark-green leaves and unusual flowers that are shaped like hearts or a painter's palette. Look for flower colors in deep red or pink.

More ideas... Exotic orchids such as Phalaenopsis, Oncidium, Cattleya and Lady Slippers; red, pink, yellow and orange Kalanchoes and indoor Hydrangeas are all beautiful and long-lasting flowering plants. Pair any of these lovely plants with a unique container from our large selection.
